Red Light Therapy

Red Light Therapy

Give your body the healing power of red light with our state-of-the-art red light therapy bed.

Red light therapy is a revolutionary healing modality that can transform so many aspects of your health. Certain wavelengths of red light can penetrate deep into your body, targeting the energy centres of your cells (mitochondria), which are responsible for producing ATP and giving your body the energy it needs to function.

Our full-body red light bed uses red and infrared light to go deep into your tissues and help activate the body’s healing mechanisms, enhancing cellular function and helping them regain homeostasis – so you can function better in your daily life.

Many studies have shown that red light therapy can help improve mental clarity, reduce oxidative stress, ease pain and inflammation, regulate circadian rhythm and sleep, improve physical performance, assist in muscle recovery, boost circulation, increase energy at the cellular level and rejuvenate the skin.

Regular exposure to red light is essential for our health, especially if you’re seeking an optimal state of wellbeing.

Frequently Asked Questions

The session goes for 15 minutes.

Red light therapy can feel warm, but it’s usually not hot.We can provide you with sweat towels if needed.

Due to the high intensity of the red light and its proximity to your face, it’s important to protect your eyes to prevent strain or discomfort. Therefore, we require all users to wear eye protection during each session in the red light bed. We will provide protective eye patches for your safety and comfort.

No, red light does not contain UV (ultraviolet) radiation. Red light is on the opposite end of the spectrum from UV light. UV light has much shorter wavelengths and more energy, which is why it can damage the skin and eyes. Red light, on the other hand, has long wavelengths and is generally considered safe.

In fact, red light therapy is often used for skin treatments, reducing inflammation, promoting healing, and even helping with acne or wrinkles. It’s usually not harmful when used properly and in safe doses.

We recommend one 15-minute session up to three times per week.

Because individual conditions vary, each person’s treatment course will vary according to their needs. As a general guide, we recommend six to seven sessions.

For best results, we recommend using the red light bed fully undressed (we have blackout curtains for complete privacy). Alternatively, you can leave your underwear on.

Red light primarily targets the surface layers of the skin, while infrared light penetrates deeper into tissues, reaching muscles and joints. Combining both red and infrared light in the same treatment may achieve optimal results.

Red light therapy is generally considered safe when used as directed. It’s a non-invasive treatment, with a low risk of side effects. Individuals who are pregnant or have a medical condition should consult with their healthcare provider before using the red light bed.

Red light therapy has a host of potential benefits, including improved skin health, temporary relief from pain and inflammation, faster wound healing, reduced stress, relaxation, improved hair growth, enhanced athletic performance and recovery, plus cognitive benefits.
